BIG QUE XXL

Originally born in the Bronx, NY Big Que XXL moved to Southside Queens around the age of 7yrs old. Motivated by local groups like Da Hoodratz & Juvenile Delinquintz he started rapping and immediately stood out from his peers. One of our blocks's older brothers Bobby Lewis picked Que out of everyone and started managing him. That gave him access to bigger and better studios. At that point took on the name Billy Bathgate based on the 1991 gangster movie starring Loren Dean & Dustin Hoffman. With the intentions of finding employment and bettering his family Big Que moved to Albany. Unfamiliar with the new city, he put his music on career on hold but always continued to write. With the combination of need, temptation & opportunity... it wasn't long before Big Que took on the life of a hustler. Still drawn to the music he started occasionally going down to NYC to record again. Just as he started getting his feet wet two back to back prison bids sat him down. This time he came home with a new mind set and teamed up with his brother-in-law PR forming the group GOGETTAZ putting out videos like Wild Out ft Arsonal & Rich Off Pain. They put together songs with features like Ricky Hyde, Dave East, El Camino, Fuego Base & Che Noir. Even appearing on Punchline Academy hosted by Da Inphamous Amadeuz. With his partner PR moving out of state Big Que began to explore his solo career again. This time with the help of his friend and manager Beast he quickly ended up on tracks with some of the top rappers from this area such as Peshy Kruger, Trenchy TheGuy & Notes to name a few. In Nov of 2024 Big Que XXL had the opportunity to live out one of his dreams as he opened up for The legendary Lox at the historical Palace Theater in Albany, NY. Big Que is currently working on his first solo EP called The First Chapter which will be dropping soon!
